The 1st German - Ukrainian Energy Day

On 26 August 2020, Ukraine and Germany signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership, which marks the beginning of a new level of dialogue and cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.

The 1st German-Ukrainian Energy Day, which will take place online on 8-9 December 2020, is the first public event to present the main directions of future cooperation and discuss current issues in the energy sector.

German-Ukrainian Energy Day is the central annual event within the framework of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership, bringing together representatives from politics, business and the expert environment of both countries to exchange experiences and to further develop and deepen economic and political cooperation.

The 1st German-Ukrainian Energy Day is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine (Minenergo).
